Capturing memories through a lens is more than just a job, it's a passion. I love studying the subject and making photographs and videos . Being able to provide people with something they can keep and share for a lifetime is a privilege. I am very grateful to be here working as a full time photographer and take pride in creating images that help preserve the most meaningful times in people’s lives, turning them into timeless images and media that tell a story.

Hi, I'm Hannah, and welcome to Scoularfish Photography!

I've had a camera of some kind or another since I was a child, always out and about grabbing shots of nature, people and moments whenever I felt inspired to do so. This early love eventually led me to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Photography in the Arts, a journey I’d happily take again—even the dissertation! I dedicated much of my degree to film photography, which taught me how to work manually with a camera and truly focus on composition, as I always had a limited amount of film to work with. The hard work paid off, earning me a First-Class Honours Degree.

Now based in Swansea, I mainly work across South and West Wales, Hampshire, and the New Forest, though I'm open to traveling further afield—including internationally!
After finishing my photography degree at Swansea University, I knew I couldn’t leave the stunning South and West coast of Wales behind. It has been too good to walk away from, so I decided to make it my home. Since then, photography has become more than just a career for me—it’s my life.

In 2017, I was fortunate enough to win a photography internship in the South of France, an experience that enriched my work and broadened my perspective. I’ve also been part of an internship at the Swansea Waterfront Museum, where I had the chance to delve deeper into my craft.

Aside from photographing professionally, I recently became a volunteer for the RNLI at Burry Port. This role has opened up incredible opportunities to capture and document their work through both photo and video. The position so far has been full of adventures and challenges, and I’m thrilled to be part of such an important cause.

Photography is more than just a job to me—it’s a passion, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
