A wedding that wasn't as they had hoped, like so many couples, to have a celebration surrounded by their family and friends. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic they choose to say their vows as soon as they could once the strict restrictions had slightly eased. With their wedding party consisting of six in total they took to Swansea Registry Office looking more than ready to get married and enjoy their special and very memorable day. Their love and commitment for one another really shone through everything else that was happening in the world and they had their moment. I was honoured to be a part of such an intimate and meaningful day.
It was also a first for me having to stand in one marked out spot during the whole ceremony. I was pleased to at least be allowed to stand during the ceremony and up at the front in order to capture the vows, rings and first kiss!
After the ceremony we headed straight to the beach which is the beauty of getting married in Swansea Civic Centre as the beach is hardly even a two minute walk away. With their home village of Mumbles in the background this beach couldn't have been a better choice for their wedding portraits.
Here are a handful from their wedding day.
